Tough-Ball™ is a 1-inch (25.4 mm) rubber ball mounting base with a 1/4"-20 x 0.25" male threaded stud. It is designed to connect devices with a standard 1/4"-20 female mounting thread—such as many cameras, camcorders, sensors, and other equipment—to a RAM B-size (1") ball-and-socket mounting system.

The RAM® Tough-Ball™ RAP-B-379U-252025 combines a 1-inch rubber ball with a short 1/4"-20 male threaded post, creating a compact mounting interface between your device and a RAM Mount arm.
The 1/4"-20 thread is 0.25 inches long, making it suitable for devices that have a corresponding 1/4"-20 female threaded mounting hole. The ball then connects to any compatible RAM B-size double-socket arm, allowing the mounted device to be positioned and adjusted at virtually any angle.
The Tough-Ball uses a high-strength composite construction with a stainless-steel threaded post, providing durability while maintaining the flexibility of RAM's modular ball-and-socket mounting system.
